Gem MB Church is a community of followers of Jesus with the desire to love God, love our neighbours and live out the hope that we have in Jesus Christ. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, we invite you to join with us as we grow in our faith together.
Our church is a part of the Alberta Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (ABMB), the Canadian Conference of MB Churches, and a supporter of Camp Evergreen. We uphold the confession of faith of the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches.
We are a supporter of Camp Evergreen through a variety of efforts including volunteering, active participation in camp programs, and financial contributions.
- Our Sundays begin with Sunday school for kids and youth at 10:00 am. Adults meet for coffee, visiting and a short adult bible study in the sanctuary.
- Our worship service begins at 11:00 and includes a time of worship and singing, prayer, a children’s feature and sermon.
- We frequently welcome guest speakers to our service from affiliate ministries both locally, nationally, and internationally.
- Our church organizes a Kids Club after school once/week for grades 3-6 that runs after school for 8 weeks in the fall and 8 weeks in the spring.
- Our youth group is for grades 7-12 and includes a bi weekly gathering time for bible study, games and other activities. We regularly join together with other local church youth groups for larger activities.
- Our VBS program runs the first week of July and is open to all kids ages 4-12 who want to attend. We have a closing program on Friday with a BBQ lunch for parents and the community.
Pastor Brent Siemens
Brent has been at Gem MB since the summer of 2024. Before coming to Gem, Brent was serving with churches in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and India. He loves working with people of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. He has a passion to teach the goodness of God’s Word. Some of his favorite things include fishing, canoeing, hockey, gardening, travelling, and playing saxophone.

Gem MB Church supports a number of local and international missions organizations including Camp Evergreen (Sundre AB), Stansberry Children’s Home (Santa Cruz, Bolivia) and Wycliffe.
